The meeting started at 7.30pm with the ASA Aishah Ayub calling the meeting to order. She proceeded with the TM's promise and handed over to the President Lackhmichand, (ATMB, ALS). The President welcomed the members and guests who introduced themselves and gave each present member and guest a Ferrero Rocher chocolate and a Valentine's Day poem. The guests were Patricia, Rosalie, Mun Yee Lau (Monash Toastmasters Club), Daniel Teh (AFC Toastmasters Club), Sameer & Bushra (Stanford Toastmasters Club) and Area Governor Rohijas (DTM) (KL Advance Toastmasters Club). The Toastmaster of the Evening (TME), Chandrasiri then continued the meeting sharing a little about the history of Toastmasters International and introducing the theme of the night, "Valentine's Day".

Role players then explained what they were doing that night. Among the role players were Aishah Ayub who took over the role of the Grammarian in the absence of Eileen Marie Crawley. Aishah read out the word of the day, Adoration / Adorable, Reuben Raja, counted the speech crutches as the Ah Counter and Bryan Yong as the Timekeeper.

Wai Leong was also the Table Topics Master and his session was surrounding the Valentine's Day theme. 5 speakers volunteered Bushra, Patricia, Sameer, Rosalie and the best table topic speaker for the night was Mun Yee (Monash Toastmasters Club).

Shobha Janardanan, evaluated the table topic speakers and even though it was her first time and she performed the role very well with constructive evaluation's.

Then it was break time next in the agenda but due to some unforeseen circumstances we had to carry on with the meeting while waiting for our Domino's pizzas to arrive.

Indraveni Kamalanathan, gave her CC #1 Ice Breaker 'A Little About Me". Her speech evaluator was Sham Sunder Lakhiani, (ACB) who suggested her next speech title should be "A Lot More About Me" and there was huge laughter around the room. We all know how funny Sham is with his sense of humour and he was also named Best Evaluator for the night.

The next speaker was Mun Yee Lau (Monash Toastmasters Club). Her speech title was "Trapped In a Box" and this was the speech that won her the Club level contest for the International Speech Contest. She is using this as a platform to rehearse her speech for the upcoming area level contest. Her speech was evaluated by Ranjit Singh, (ACS, CL) who suggested she use a little humour and try to shake the audience with real life experiences.

Then it was Breaktime! The pizzas arrived and President allowed for a 20 minutes break. At 8.55pm the meeting was called to order by the ASA.

The next speaker Wai Leong Soon, gave his CC #5 Your Body Speaks "My Adulthood" His evaluator was Ranjani Visvanathan (ACB), who was impressed with Wai Leong's improvements to date in many aspects of speech giving and told him to continue his good work.
