It was a small but bubbly meeting today. The meeting started at 7.40pm with 10 members and a guest. The ASA, Chandrasiri calling the meeting to order and continued with the TM's promise, he then handed over to the President Lackhmichand, (ATMB, ALS). The President welcomed the members and guest who introduced themselves. The only guest for tonight was Mallika (Money & You Toastmasters Club). She was amazed by the warm reception given to her by our club members and said she felt being treated like a Queen. The Toastmaster of the Evening (TME), Chandrasiri then continued the meeting by asking every member and guest present to share with everyone about their "greatest accomplishments" which was the theme of the day.

TTE & Assignment Speech Evaluator – Chandran (CC)
TTM – Sham Sunder (ACB)

Sham Sunder (ACB) stepped in as the TTM in the absence of Lourdes (DTM). The Table Topics Master and his session were surrounding personal experiences. 6 speakers volunteered namely Lucky, Patricia, Mooi, Ranjani, Mallika and the best table topic speaker for the night was Shobha, her second time since joining as a Toastmaster at Bangsar.
Then it was break time next in the agenda, with tantalizing Indian delicacies served at the cafeteria.
At 8.50pm the meeting was called to order by the ASA. Shobha Janardanan gave her CC #9 Persuade with Power speech with her speech title "Promoting Arts Appreciation". Her speech evaluator was Chandran, (CC). Since, there was only one assignment speech, there was no voting carried out for the best assignment speaker or best evaluator.
After the Awards Presentation for the best table topics speaker, the President ended the meeting by encouraging and persuading members to strive to achieve the club DCP goals and to invite guests for future meetings. He also wished everyone a pleasant journey home and good night!
